Over 30 bands and an estimated 650 musicians will participate in the 7th year of Ontario Christian MusicFest (OCM). During this three day event, all performances, clinics and workshops are free to attend.
The adjudication team for 2012 will include: Garry Page, Dennis Ullman and Peter Stoll.
OCM features performances by Concert, Jazz, Instrumental and Vocal Ensembles from school and community organizations.
Free Evening Concerts begin at 7:00 pm. On Thursday, March 1, 2012 the Oshawa Civic Band other community based bands will be featured.
All events take place in the Durham Christian Academy Auditorium located on Nash Road in Courtice, ON. More information is available at their website www.drumsinc.ca or by sending a message to drums@sympatico.ca .
Qualifying groups from OCM receive invitations to perform at the National Finals for MusicFest Canada.
